Now we can all enjoy having wonderful stones for art! I have been working hard to bring you what our dotting community have been asking and waiting for!
The diameter of the Art Stone Mold #1 when released from its mold is 3 inches/ 8 cms. The height is 1.7 inches / 4.5 cms. It's volume is 160 mls.
The diameter of the Art Stone Mold #2 when released from its mold is 3.7 inches/ 9.5 cms. The height is 1.3 inches / 3.5 cms. The volume is 172 mls.
The diameter of the Art Stone Mold #3 when released from its mold is 3 inches wide/ 7.62 cms. The height is 1 inch / 2.54 cm tall, and its volume is 80mls.
The Heart Art Stone Mold is 4 inches wide by 4 inches long by 1 inch tall, and it's volume is 156ml.

All the hard work has already been done for you with a tiny centre mark to start your mandala on the Art stone mold #3 ! Or, a light sand will remove it completely. To create a mandala or any art piece where symmetry is desired simply place a template over the centre dot and mark through the template! Dome template works well for the Mold #3 Art Stone.

Making art stones is easy!
The Process to make your art stones/rocks -
You will need to purchase the gypsum powder separately to make your stones/rocks - Many casting plasters will work well and I like using Ultracal 30 (highest strength gypsum - it is harder, heavier and better for painting than plaster of paris) - available online in most parts of the world. Sorry I don't sell it. This heart mold uses 250grams or 9oz of Ultracal 30 powder per art stone made, and the Mold #3 uses about half of these measurement.
Mix the Gypsum powder with water following the directions provided with the mixture.
Pour into the mould.
Wait approximately 6 hours or overnight.
This is the fun bit! - Turn out your art stone/rock. It comes out beautifully smooth!
Allow to dry for a day or two.
